Some more pics from the fall firings.

Top image is from the CCC Anagama, bottom from Julie Crosby’s kiln. Julie’s firings bring out much more of the yellows and the CCC more red and grays.

I’ve been back in the studio again, making more of these pots (I am still really intrigued by this proces), and lots and lots of teapots.

From the last firing

The first and Third Pieces are from the CCC Anagama, the other 2 are from Julie Crosby’s kiln in Mecklenburg. These pots are so much fun to make, they are pushing my tech. skills to the edge.  Sizes are about 8″‘ x  9″ for the tallest and 6″ x 10″ for the widest!

Ithaca Fine Craft Show

December 9, 10,11 is the Ithaca Fine Craft Show that I have helped produce for the last six years!  There will be 25 really great artisans displaying their work.
